Before I started the SMWW course I knew nothing about cricket management but over these past 8 weeks I've learnt more than in my past 19 years. The course really opened my eyes up on how the cricket world actually works and how I can use my strengths to help build my cricket management career.

NFLPA Certified Agent

Anyone sitting for the NFLPA exam should enroll in this course. I could not have passed the exam without the course. After sitting through each session and going over the problems, my study partners and I dissected each problem and reworked them to fully understand each concept. Everything finally clicked after re-listening to the recorded sessions and reworking the problems. Joel was most helpful and open to explaining everything to ensure full understanding. The class is was worth every penny spent on it.

Keith Hadding

Greatest classes ever! Where else can you get the quality of instructors at such a low cost and such a diverse group?

Cajun Allstar Bowl Scouting Inter

The confidence and techniques that Russell Lande instilled in me were right on the money. I felt stagnant in life until he layed out the framework of how to enter the Scouting world. Once I completed the course and updated my resume, the interviews came
pouring in.

SoDo Mojo Writer

I took the Baseball GM and Scouting course at 17 years old with Dan Evans and Hank Jones and it was an incredible experience. I learned so much from them and I have been able to use what I learned to help me get going in my young career. I hope to take more SMWW classes and attend more events.

Mark Santana

I couldn't have done it without the SMWW Baseball GM and Scouting course. It gave me a great scouting foundation to help me acheive a job in scouting. I now am an Associate Scout with the Blue Jays through hardwork and completing this course.

Tucker Hoadley Shaw

I am currently trying to steer my career more toward football while building off of my experience with streaming broadcast operations and breaking down college and pro games. Taking DVE with XOS with Mike Stoeber has given me a new skill set and opened up a new career path. I feel confident that I can now contribute to any video department

Director of Rugby at Edinburgh Academicals

This course took my knowledge and understanding to the next level.  The course content will get you thinking outside the box and looking at how you can put your learning into your current setting. It is a must if you are looking to excel in your career in the business end of Rugby, but I would advise anyone involved in Rugby Admin or within Rugby Operations to take this course as it will better you and the club you are involved in.
Mick and John are great throughout the 8 weeks with their weekly chats and as mentors to get advice from throughout.

Senior Writer, TheHoosier.com (a Rivals.com website)

Learning under Carl Berman of NetScouts Basketball was an extremely valuable experience. Not only as a basketball evaluator but also with growing my writing capabilities. He helped me learn the ins and outs of the basketball industry and all of the details to look for when covering a team or a player. I would highly recommend getting involved with NetScouts and SMWW in any way you can. The connections and experience you gain will be invaluable.

LA Rams Analytics Intern

I would just like to thank you for the last 8 weeks through the course. It is the first time I have enjoyed studying in my life. You made it extremely interesting and made the learning process as smooth as possible. Your teaching has also given me even more motivation to make a career out of it, hopefully in the NFL!

Certified International Cricket Agent

The Cricket Business Course was diverse and comprehensive. It confirmed for me that this was a passion that I needed to pursue. I really appreciate that Ken has followed up on my career and offered advice. It is impossible to work in a vacuum and I think the way SMWW organizes online Zoom events is a great way to get students connected and motivated.

Thank you again to Ken for passing on my details. It is an honor to be considered and that he has made the connection. Ken is a very well respected and active stakeholder of cricket in Australia.

I highly recommend SMWW's Athlete Branding and Marketing course taught by Kristen Kuliga. This course afforded me the opportunity to learn from the best. In the course, we tackled effective strategies for building sustainable athlete brands, networks, athlete-agent relationships, social media marketing, understanding endorsement deals, the new NIL bill and its impact on athletes, post-career entrepreneur ventures, and more. The best part of the course was NFL legend Doug Flutie stopping in to speak with the class, as he embodies that which we studied, a great athlete brand with a great story.

Phases Basketball Dubai Head Coach

For anyone who is into sports management, there is no other online course and company that can give you the EDGE to enter the world of sports other than SMWW.

Boys & Girls Club of America Director of Program

This course gave me the information that NBA General Managers and Scouts should have in order to properly do their job. We also had the opportunity each week to speak with a professional GM and Scout to get an understanding of their career. SMWW has opened the door for me to be educationally competitive in the sports world.

FanSided.com Independent Writer

SMWW served as a springboard for my sports business education and experience that I hope will translate to a career one day. They provide students with great mentors from the industry, a lot is learned and there's a respect factor too.

The Baseball Agent is a great course to obtain experience in negotiating player contracts. Oscar Suarez is a great instructor, he made me feel more comfortable and ready on how to approach players and make connections with them. My favorite part was the weekly chats and the connections I made with my classmates.

OJHL Cobourg Courgars GM

The Hockey GM and Scouting course is a fantastic stepping stone for anyone that has ever wanted to get involved in hockey operations. From diving into the role of General Manager and building a roster, to what to look for when scouting players and building a draft list, this course will provide you with the opportunity to pursue hockey as a career. The weekly sessions with Harry Sinden, Dino Caputo, and Mike Oke gave us the opportunity to network with our peers and discuss the hot topics of hockey. I will be using the information, insight, and resources for years to come.

The course was honestly an amazing experience. The lecturers are arguably the best you would see around. They answered all the questions with examples. I learned how to connect and the importance of networking. In this business, let honesty be your hallmark. In this course, you will learn more than enough to be amongst the best.

Lancaster Barnstormers Director of Baseball Operations

Understanding the behind-the-scenes look from Dan at the Player Development Department was worth every penny. Learning from Dan was my favorite part!

Graduate Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach, The Citadel

The NetScouts Basketball/SMWW apprenticeship program is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in pursuing a career in basketball. Being a credentialed member on press row was a dream come true for me. You are given the tools to hone your skills of talent evaluation and get feedback on your reports about how to improve. Mr. Berman is hands on with his feedback and has a great deal of  respect and experience in this business.  While in the program, I attended several SOCON basketball games in my area and two years later I am now coaching in the same conference. Take advantage of this position by forming genuine relationships with as many people as you can

Perth Wildcats and Perth Lynx

If you need hands on experience scouting, including feedback and formatting reports, then NetScouts has an ideal option, with their in-depth scouting program. Having spent a full NCAA season scouting for them across the US, I had support the whole way. Entry into games, great seats and excellent advice. Now, with NetScouts teaming up with SMWW, they've gone to a new level. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to start out in the basketball industry.

Basketball Data Analyst and Partner, Stats Perform

The SMWW/NetScouts Basketball Scout Apprenticeship Program was an excellent opportunity to kickstart my scouting growth and development. I gained invaluable in-person scouting experience at DePaul and Northwestern and established a strong fundamental understanding of the international youth basketball landscape through FIBA U16 and U18 video-scouting projects. While there is no tried-and-true path into a career in scouting and basketball operations, this program certainly served as a nice springboard in bolstering my scouting chops and broadening my basketball network.

Using Synergy and seeing how it breaks down the game, has changed how I look and watch basketball games during the playoffs. I've been doing more analyzing and what if's with guys to see if they would fit. If you're going to be into basketball, you have to take this class.

Being an intermediary is something I have had interest in for a very long time, but I was reluctant to take the course, pay money, having it online and all. But after this course, I can say I am very pleased, I thought I knew a lot about dealing with players and the soccer agent job in a whole but SMWW has really been an eye opener. I loved everything about this course, the mentors were exceptional and my course mates were all good guys. If you want to get this course done, dont wait any longer, get on board now because what you take in will guide you in your quest to be an Agent forever.

Dream Scouting Network Regional Director

Taking the course of General Manager and Scouting from SMWW was exactly what I needed as I transition from being a College Head Football Coach to scouting and or personnel on next level. Dr. Lashbrook was right when he suggested this course would be perfect for someone with my expertise in football. Special thanks to Russ, Mark and John for sharing their experiences in our live chats.

I just want to say thank you for being such a great mentor to me and helping me achieve my goals. You really gave me some clarity and a path to follow and it has helped a ton! Taking that course was really the best investment in my life. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge and direction.

Dan Duquette's Player Development course is a brilliant addition to the SMWW baseball operations family of courses. Dan's 4 decades in baseball, primarily as a GM, provide students insight into player development that is unparalleled. The two time Sporting News Executive of the Year's course is the perfect complement to the SMWW Baseball GM and Scouting Course with former Dodgers GM Dan Evans/former Dodgers Scout Hank Jones, and the Baseball Analytics Course with baseball savant Ari Kaplan. These courses together are a triple threat for anyone to have under their belt if they aspire to work in baseball!

I signed up for this course to learn more about Analytics and how it was being used in today's game. I believe that the SMWW Baseball Analytics opened my eyes to how numbers and statistics are being used. Analyzing player performances and predicting future value based on these statistics was one of the most exciting assignments of the course.

The Baseball GM/Scouting course was by far my favorite class that I have completed with SMWW. Hank Jones and Dan Evans provides tremendous information from their experiences and what really goes on within Baseball Operations Departments, takes you behind the scenes in scouting and teaches how to identify the top prospects with multiple tools. I feel very confident in the information that I have learned with this course and I am ready to use it first hand with an organization.

MLB Player Agent

Dan is the real deal, he’s worked in affiliated and independent baseball, has dealt with international signings and is well versed in all aspects of the business side of a baseball operation. He has run three MLB clubs and has dealt with all types of players from superstars to utility types, has been in charge of both scouting and player development areas and knows how to engage with ownership groups at the highest level. Having talked about all of the above, Dan’s best attributes are his understanding of a BB organization and knowing how to communicate with all levels of a sports organization. In addition, Toronto’s recent interest in his becoming their next President of BB Ops shows how esteemed Dan is, even by his competitors. I’d recommend signing up for his course, a student will learn about theory but Dan will prepare you for what really happens in the sports world!

Welcome, Dan, to the SMWW family!

I am extremely happy to announce that I have accepted Shun Yamaguchi's Interpreter position with the Toronto Blue Jays and now heading to Tampa for Spring Training! If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't have made it to where I am for what I dreamed of.

Full 8 Sports Marketing Owner

I started my own business in the Motorsports world hoping I could figure it out as I went. I did that for a while but needed another boost. As introverted as I am, I needed a push for networking in particular. SMWW gave me that push! With the focus of the class on networking within the industry, it made it easier to bring it into the real world. The class brought different aspects and a better understanding of the motorsports industry as a whole. I received some validation that what I was doing in my current business was the way that it was done which gave me more confidence in going out on my own. I would highly recommend this class for anyone who has a passion for motorsports. It doesn't matter if you know what you want to do within the industry, or if you are just exploring options!

I came into the conference not knowing what I wanted to do as a future working in sports. The SMWW Staff gave me direction on what I should be doing now and what I am going to do in the future.

As a 1st-year attendee, I was highly impressed by the wealth of sports industry information that was provided and will apply the tools to pursue a career in sports and sports education with SMWW.

I'm writing to you and the rest of your team to thank you! I took the Baseball GM & Scouting Course two years ago and I learned so many skills that have helped me in my career. In December 2018, on my second season has Toros de Herrera G.M. in the Panamanian professional Baseball League my team won the Championship. In January, we got the opportunity to play at the Latin American Baseball Series in Mexico where we finished third and during this series we got a call from the Commissioner of the Caribbean asking if Panama could host a Caribbean Series and get Toros to play in the tournament. Not only did we help them organize the series and were great hosts, but a team that I put together in four days with 15 Toros Players, and 6 Panamanians from other teams and seven players from the Nicaragua and Colombian league won the Series in what is one of the most incredible histories in modern Baseball. We competed against the best teams in the winter leagues and finished with a 4W - 1L record with historic victories against Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Cuba.

Thanks for your help and hope the programs keep going strong.

SMWW / NetScouts Apprentice

For those interested in getting experience in scouting, I fully endorse the SMWW/ Netscouts apprenticeship. One thing that holds people back from their dreams of working in professional basketball is actually getting the real work experience. Other SMWW classes allow aspiring basketball professionals to learn specific skills this program allows you to actually apply them.  The media access that this apprenticeship provides is the real cherry on top, it gave me just what I needed, more access to the Raptor 905.

During my class with SMWW I was able to learn numerous amounts of information on business development and ticket sales. After my class though I stayed heavily involved with SMWW through going to numerous conferences (NBA x2 & NHL) and helping to work them to make sure they were being run smoothly. The best advice that I got through SMWW and Mark Warkentein was to be 1% better each day than the last. If you are someone that is motivated to excel in any career of your choice I believe that SMWW will help prepare you not for just your career, but also you life.

SMWW gives you the chance to get your foot in the door in the competitive world of sports. I took the football GM and scouting course and it was an incredible experience, being able to talk to ESPN Analyst and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers GM Mark Dominik every week along with John Wooten, Russ Lande, and Dr. Lashbrook was absolutely awesome. You get out what you put in when it comes to the courses, so if you want to work in sports and you are committed to working your tail off than I would recommend SMWW to anyone.

I was in the same position as most college students. I was about to graduate with my degree, yet had no job prospects or an idea of where to start looking. I came across Dr. Lashbrook at a local restaurant here in Portland when he handed me his business card and told me to follow up. I went into the office a few days later and signed up that day to take the Sports Sales and Marketing Course. I also began to intern in the office a few times a week as my schedule permitted. Through SMWW and Dr. Lashbrook, I was able to dive deep into my sports career and look forward to progressing my career.

Chicago Bulls Player Development Coordinator

As an SMWW alum of Basketball GM & Scouting, the Basketball Career Conference, and Sports Revenue Mgmt course, I am pleased to inform you that I have gotten my first NBA job with the Brooklyn Nets as Player Development and Video Assistant. I thank you for all of the knowledge and networking that SMWW has imparted to me to this point. Thank you again and I hope to continue to ascend the NBA ladder and represent your company well.

Entrepreneur and Attorney

Joel, I just found out I passed the NFLPA Certification exam, so I will be able to move forward with my NFL agent venture. I wanted to say thanks so much for your guidance and help in understanding the CBA…you MORE than prepared me!  I really say this in a modest way, and complimentary to you, but the exam didn’t seem that difficult and I believe part of the reason is because of how you helped me over-prepare, going through the most difficult scenarios.

I'm a student in Ari Kaplan's Baseball Analytics Class. We're about halfway through the course and I've already landed my first job in baseball!  I logged into the course page last Sunday to post an assignment and I saw a message to all students from SMWW that the Tampa Bay Rays were hiring TrackMan and Pitch f/x Operators for their minor league affiliates.  I quickly revised my resume to feature the course description that SMWW provided and applied for the job via TeamWork Online.  The very next day I was hired by the Rays Baseball Operations Department to help run TrackMan for one of their minor league clubs that is local to me!  They said my resume really stood out, and I attribute most of that to having the SMWW Baseball Analytics course description front and center.  So I'd like to say 'thank you' to the whole SMWW crew and I look forward to continuing to study and learn with you.  With this new job, my investment has already more than paid for itself.  Thanks again, David Yamin

IF Björklöven Hockey Allsvenskan Scout

I wanted to touch base with SMWW as I have been living in Sweden for the past sixteen months. I've been working as a full time scout with IF Björklöven Hockey Allsvenskan since last September. Currently I am one of three full-time scouts in Swedish hockey.

I wanted thank Dr. Lashbrook and the staff at SMWW for all your help. The course opened many doors for me within the hockey community in Edmonton as well the course provided me an opportunity to develop contacts in Sweden and Finland. The course gave me instant credibility when trying to arrange interviews for the course assignment which was the most valuable part of the course.

Having a background in amateur sport administration but no experience in hockey I am still amazed I have my dream job. I owe it all to SMWW.

Mount St. Joseph

I just wanted to follow up and say thank you for putting on the amazing event last week that was the NFL Combine Career Conference and Networking Event.
I learned more than I can imagine on both Thursday and Friday. Networking with so many professionals and learning from them gave me a lot of insight on the next steps I need to do to go forward into a potential career in sports.
After the conference was over you asked if I had decided what I want to do and what career path I want to follow. Well I am 100% sure as of right now I want to go into the field of scouting and/or player personnel. And as soon as my last game as a college football is over...I am registering for the SMWW Football GM and Scouting Course.
I sincerely thank you for everything I gained from this event. The lessons I learned will serve me well in the future. And as you put it, I will "adrenalize" today and monetize tomorrow.

West Virginia University Sport Management President (2018)

Now that I finally have a moment to relax and recollect the events of the weekend, I just wanted to say on behalf of my self and the entire West Virginia University student body thank you. Thank you for providing this amazing opportunity to us. What Dr Lashbrook, Liz Lashbrook, Jen Muller, Alyssa Rutherford, and the entire SMWW staff did for us is incredible. Not only did we learn a plethora of information and life lessons from all of the wonderful guest speakers, but having a chance to connect and networking with our fellow students from across the United States was the cornerstone of this trip. We are the future leaders in this industry, with this conference serving as out starting block that will propel us to the pinnacle of our careers.

Philadelphia Phillies Scout

Thanks to Dan Evans, Larry D'Amato and Ari Kaplan and the SMWW Staff, I was able to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies, as an Associate Scout. The staff and classes are truly beneficial and helpful, to obtaining a position with an MLB team. Thank You!

The knowledge I received from the course and awesome facilitators helped me gain my first position as an intern with the Omaha Beef Arena Football Team. While there, I was contacted by several ECHL teams for Account Specialist positions. I was offered multiple jobs and accepted a position with the Wichita Thunder. The knowledge I gained with the Sports Sales and Marketing course definitely catapulted me in front of a lot of people. If you take this course and do ALL the course material you will get a job in sports. Thank you, Dr. Lashbrook!

I liked having Eric Wynalda at the conference and listening to what he had to say on his platform for US Soccer President.

Houston, Texas

It is a credible conference on the backroom business of soccer. A rich array of diverse specialists – scouts, coaches, administrators, ex-players, agents, etc – are the speakers. You will hardly attend any other soccer conference with this quality and diversity of speaking faculty as well as immense networking opportunities.

Los Angeles Angels

The Baseball GM and Scouting course was truly a great experience. It provided me with the specific training and knowledge to be able to break into the baseball industry. Dan Evans and Larry D' Amato are great mentors. All the material I learned will help me immensely moving forward in my career.

Minnesota TwinsCommunications Assistant & Spanish Translator

The SMWW Baseball GM & Scouting Course gave me a strong foundation and was helpful opening doors for me in professional baseball. In 2017, I successfully completed a Baseball Operations/Player Development Fellowship with the St. Louis Cardinals. Recently, I just accepted a full time opportunity for the 2018 season, this time with the Minnesota Twins as their Communications Assistant/Spanish Translator for the Major League Club. I’m very thankful to Dan Evans and Larry D’Amato for sharing their baseball knowledge, which helped me land these tremendous opportunities in professional baseball.

Boston Red Sox

As a longtime traditional baseball scout, I opted to expand my overall knowledge in baseball operations by taking the Baseball Analytics Course thru SMWW. This comprehensive program, directed by Dr. Lashbrook along with the teachings of well known statistical expert Ari Kaplan, provided an excellent foundation to allow for exploration of both sides of player evaluations. Certainly, the knowledge I gained in this course played an invaluable role in my acceptance of my latest baseball appointment

Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Operations

SMWW played a very influential role in earning my position with the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Operations department. The mentorship of both Mr. Evans and Mr. D'Amato helped me establish relationships with many individuals in the baseball industry that helped me get where I'm at today. The baseball industry is a tough industry to get your foot in the door, but SMWW and their mentors give you a leg up on the competition.

Block Six Analytics

SMWW has helped me network with a lot of people in the industry and I have learned so much straight from industry leading experts. I plan on taking multiple classes because of the knowledge I am gaining and the people I have met.

Recently I was hired by the NFL to work as a Game Day QA Analyst for the Next Gen Stats project this season. I'm really excited to get started with the league and I owe my experience to the Football GM & Scouting class a debt of gratitude because it provided me with a solid foundation of player evaluation.

Adidas Group

The entire team at SMWW gave me the confidence and foundation to create my dream path in sports. With extreme confidence, I can say I wouldn't be working for the 2nd largest shoe company in the world if it wasn't for the foundation SMWW set for me. I have taken 3 courses and looking to take a 4th! Thanks SMWW!

The NFLPA Agent Certification Course was the 3rd course I have taken with your company - and I wanted to let you know Joel Corry is one of the best of the best. The experience in the class, his attentiveness to our questions throughout the week, everything, beyond my expectation. Felt very confident going into the exam and know without a doubt I wouldn't be in that same mindset without Joel's guidance. I wanted to take the time to let you know, Joel is a great asset to your company, and a great professor.

Everything about the SMWW Hockey Career Conference at the NHL Draft was extremely professional and it's an experience that I will remember forever. I met so many incredible people and gained a lot of connections; without this opportunity, I'm not sure that I could've gained the type of connections that I did. Thank you for an incredible weekend!

Before taking this course I was at a complete crossroads I had just finished my MBA in Sports Business Management and I knew where I wanted to go I just didn't know how to get there or even where to start. If I'm honest, even after signing up for this course I was still a little unsure if it was the right path, however over the past eight weeks the Sports Management Worldwide Football/Soccer Agent course has been widely beneficial for me, it has advanced me greatly towards where I want to be in my career and has helped me grow as a person. I now feel confident and a lot more knowledgeable to register as an intermediary and represent professional Football/Soccer players.

When I first started my doctorate, Dr. Lashbrook and I had a detailed phone conversation covering all the hurdles that awaited and the possible benefits. His compassion and honesty was needed at the time. The SMWW/CUC program was ideal and helped me to become an expert in my field. My research has been implemented at various institutions in Central and South Florida, and I now teach courses in Sports Management and Exercise Sciences at the graduate level.

Associate Director/Faculty

CUC/SMWW offered an interdisciplinary curriculum that provided a comprehensive educational experience.  The course assignments were thorough and challenging.  This program will enhance your critical thinking.

Director of Development and Student Activities

I am VERY HAPPY and EXTREMELY PROUD of my experience and degree from SMWW/CUC! Sports management is a rapidly emerging field!  The training and education I participated in with SMWW have enabled me to exceed my professional goals. From the scope and depth of the curriculum to the flexibility of the online learning environment, to the expertise shared by the faculty members, SMWW transformed me and encouraged me in a culture of creativity and motivation. Rigorous educational standards, mutually respectful rapport between student and instructor, stimulating dialogue of inquiry and discovery, collaborative, asynchronous approach - SMWW offers an excellent online program! Due to the number of professionals in the athletic realm who are looking for ongoing professional development and training, I believe the partnership between SMWW and Concordia University Chicago will continue to be one of the best in the industry!

Washington Nationals

The Baseball GM and Scouting course was a tremendous opportunity to learn more about the current state of baseball and how to best position myself for a career in baseball. I am very thankful to Dan Evans and Larry D'Amato for sharing their immense baseball knowledge and years of experience.

New York Liberty (WNBA) Head Analytics Coordinator

Getting a job in pro basketball is all about separating yourself from the hundreds of other applicants and NetScouts/SMWW do just that. There's no substitute for being in arenas, seeing players in-person and learning what it means to be a scout on the fly. Building your skillset through courses then applying what you've learned to live game action is invaluable experience. NetScouts/SMWW had a huge role in molding me into a basketball operations professional and I use what I learned during my time in the apprenticeship program to this day.

I could never have imagined the experience I had at the conference. The connections I was able to make will no doubt help me with any career path I choose in baseball. I look forward to keeping in touch and connecting with you in my future SMWW course!

MA in Sports Managemnet

I feel the course helped me understand more of the mechanisms and written/unwritten rules that apply within the sport of hockey at different levels. I believe that understanding will help me as I find my career, as "knowledge is power" and "be comfortable being uncomfortable" is key in moving forward.

Sports Information Coordinator | Monterrey Rayados

The Soccer Management & Scouting Course helped me meet a diverse group of individuals that share the same goals and career objectives as I do; that created a learning atmosphere of mutual communication where students living far from my location provided feedback to any question that I had. SMWW empowered me to provide much more analytical opinions in my workplace, which I hope will translate into success on the field.

This is a great course! I have taken many statistics courses - for business and science and they can be very daunting but this course made even the most complicated football stats (and their math) easy to comprehend, apply and actually made it fun.

It's just a great program. It's the most convenient way to gain an edge in the field of sports agency, & it's effective. Looking back, I would have to say that it was a wise investment.

Account Executive at San Jose Giants

I really enjoyed working with SMWW & the Sports Media & Communications course! The instructors, information, and support was a great combination for helping me learn!

This was a very insightful experience. The knowledge gained and shared over such a short period will surely prove invaluable in any future potential career opportunities.

Take this course, it gives you the tools needed to become a scout, working with the instructors gives you insight you won't get anywhere else!

San Tan Legacy Soccer Club

The SMWW Soccer Scouting and Management course was extremely informative. The audio chats with Matt Martin made it all worth while but the assignments really force you to dig into the game and look at things from a different and more detailed point of view. The course work makes you really learn how hard you are willing to work to achieve success in the industry and is designed to give you the tools to do so!

At SMWW I have been taught to identify and explain all the hidden parts of the "Scouting World". It is without doubt that this course will help me pursue a scouting career.

Sport, Red, and League Coordinator at MJCC

I learned how to approach the game in a different way. Spectating is one thing, but analyzing a game is a whole other beast that I found very exciting! SMWW gives you some great tools for the game.

Md/Chief Soccer Scout

SMWW helped me feel that I can achieve my dream to work in soccer area, I learned important things like how to do scouting reports; I met professional people who already work in big soccer clubs. I dreamed to work in sports career as a soccer agent and those things are achievable with SMWW!

I learned so much from Matt Martin during this course. Being able to learn first hand from some one currently working in the industry is so valuable. The weekly chats incorporated real scouting reports and game analysis. Such a great learning tool.

It was a very good experience. Matt Martin was excellent and very easy to communicate with. Same goes for John Print! I am glad I took the risk and did the soccer management and scouting course because the knowledge I gained is invaluable!

Cal State Stanislaus Head Coach

I have been a Head Collegiate coach in the US for 17 years, have my "A" and NSCAA Premier. I have coached PDL and as well as been a State Director of Coaching. I found this course to be beneficial in so many ways and look to incorporate the information I learned on how to scout opponents and players.

Freelance Soccer Scout

There is no degree or specific formula when it comes to becoming a soccer scout, but SMWW gives you a platform and community to work together and jump right into it. Doing this course is definitely not learning things from a book and reciting the information like a parrot, but rather applying yourself to dig deeper and expressing your own opinions and ideas.

WDFL Director of College Scouting

SMWW helped me take a first step towards my career goal of becoming a NFL General Manager.  If I didn't take that first online class, and attend the Football Career Conference, who knows what would've happened.

Superb course! Ari was generous with his time and effort. His lectures were organized and easy to follow. He broke-down hard to understand material and made it easy to comprehend. I would absolutely take another SMWW course!

InStat Sport Region Representative

Thanks to SMWW I have been lucky and have had the chance to broaden my horizons in the basketball community not just in Turkey but have been lucky to reach people that I would have hardly been able to reach. Looking forward to any and all other basketball courses this organization deals with.

Working with the community of Sports Management Worldwide has been great! The assignments are structured very well throughout each 8-week course, but the biggest benefit you receive is the relationships you establish. I have taken two classes so far, and the connections and contacts I have made because of those two are priceless. If you are interested in sports as a profession, or even elevating your understanding/relationships, I highly recommend choosing SMWW.

New Business Executive at Nashville Predators

Team Sports Agency

Joel Corry and the SMWW Agent Certification Course in one word, 'methodical'. Joel's approach to studying makes it easier to understand the Collective Bargaining Agreement, a complex document. I now have an in-depth understanding of the CBA and it is a big reason why I am an Agent today. I am extremely grateful to Joel. His reputation of being a great agent carries over to being a great teacher. The class is a game changer and felt fortunate to have had Joel in my corner prior to the test.

Director, Quality & Regulatory Affairs: Specialty Businesses

Just a quick note of gratitude. I'm both a pharmacist and an attorney, which means I am no stranger to licensing exams (6 total licenses across 4 states). I absolutely mean it when I say, without your course there is NO way I could have passed the nflpa exam. But thanks to you, I can now say I am a certified nfl player agent (pending registration fee and insurance of course!) Thanks again for all of the assistance, and I wish you continued success in all of your future endeavors!

Co Founder at True Sports Management

I found out the other day that I passed the exam, and I just wanted to send you a quick email and say how helpful your class was in getting me prepared to take the exam. I would not have had the amount of preparation necessary to pass if I did not take your course. The test definitely lived up to the hype as far as difficulty, but with the prep work we did in class it was no problem.

Moncton Wildcats Scout

I was a volunteer at the FIBA World Champs back in 2010 in Turkey, when I decided to take the Sports Admin course at SMWW. That's how I met the amazing Dr. Krause. I am now working in my dream job - a European scout for Aston Villa FC.

Boston Celtics Video Cordinator

The Basketball GM and Scouting course was a huge help in me getting started at the Boston Celtics. I had several interviews, and in each case, after my resume was reviewed I was asked to discuss my training through the Basketball GM & Scouting Course. I believe the Celtics knew I was serious when they saw I had taken this course on my own, outside of my regular college courses. The course showed me ways to view the game from different levels beyond a fan's perspective. Each week during the chats, I spoke with influential members of the basketball world, and these conversations taught me how to handle myself in an NBA environment.

SMWW and this class helped me find my dream job. I was leery of an online course because I had never taken one before, but SMWW has a fantastic group of professors and mentors that are available when you need them. It was very hands-on and easy to correspond and work with others involved in this course. The online discussions were helpful and each time very engaging. It gave me the opportunity to speak with the professors, and others involved in the course, ask advice and set weekly goals in order to track my progress. I would recommend SMWW to anyone who is sports-driven and has the desire to work in the sports industry.

Dr. Krause brought alot of insight from personal experience into the discussions. What he had to share was always pertainent and useful. As a result, I am currently pursuing a career in scouting and the course has already opened doors for me.

The Football GM & Scouting course gave me the tools I need to start a career in scouting, and probably most important, the resources and contacts to get started - I not only still attend the chats with Russ on a weekly basis but I have been able to make key contacts with other current NFL personnel that will hopefully lead to me getting my start with a team. After putting together a portfolio full scouting reports on 50 players eligible for this year's draft I applied with several teams immediately after the draft. I really can't say enough about the opportunities SMWW has given me!

So the course was a huge help in the development of my career.

Student, Mt. Royal College

In my eight weeks of taking the management and player scouting course it helped me to take what I knew from playing the game of hockey my whole life, and applying the skills I learned throughout the course and putting them into a package to help me enhance my trade into the scouting world of hockey. I like from week one how we started on the history of hockey and how the times have changed on to week eight where we able to apply what we learned right into the offices of pro-hockey teams. I recommend this course to anyone as it makes me feel more professional and I feel more confident in walking into any office and applying for a hockey scouting job. My favorite part was working with Rinknet and doing actual scouting reports. Thanks Sports Management Worldwide.

I really enjoyed the chats, we were able to network not only with people in the business but with other students who are trying to pursue the same careers.

With work and school every day, I found it difficult to expand my knowledge in the sports field and fit a class with a fixed time into my busy schedule. The online Basketball GM course was a great fit for me; I was able to learn and complete my assignments at my own pace and on my own schedule. This course has also been a great tool for networking with individuals across the country that possess the same interests and career goals as I. During my last year of law school, I signed up for Dr. Lashbrook's program. Following law school, I started my law practice at a large law firm and focused on sports law. The knowledge I gained from the program and Dr. Lashbrook was invaluable and helped me to excel in my practice. The Athlete Management course prepared me and helped me to build a successful sports law practice focusing on athlete representation and assistance. I currently represent several MLB clients. Without this program, I would not have been able to achieve the career I now have. I highly recommend his program to anyone who desires to build a successful career in any area of the sport industry.

I'd just like to toss a big thank you out to Dr. Lashbrook for his vision in developing such a great company which has enabled so many of us to break into the sports industry. I took two. SMWW teaches you and helps you understand what it takes to be one of the best sports agents in this industry

Los Angeles Dodgers

I had minimal traction in my sports career search until I signed up for SMWW's Sports Management program. I started four weeks ago and TODAY was offered and accepted a full-time position with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Yesterday I spent fifteen minutes of one-on-one interview coaching with SMWW and went into today's interview confident and more than prepared. Also, SMWW crafted a great letter of recommendation for me which I presented to the Dodgers along with my sports-specific resume. Through SMWW's contacts with the Dodgers my resume and application went from the rejection pile to getting an interview, being presented a full time offer and eventually accepting the position. Thanks SMWW!

The Athlete Management Course has given me a chance to help others, as well as myself and my family, and given me a new found feeling of respect. Everything about this company is impressive and professional. The Athlete Management Course has allowed me to develop a career in the competitive industry of sports management. I would recommend this course to anyone who is serious about becoming or understanding the world of a Sports Agent.

I have made a lot of new friends and I'm excited to see where things can go from here. I want three players next year!"

This course has been both an awakening and an inspiration for me. Since I am a European, I never knew the way they played this game overseas. I was amazed at the amount of information about hockey that I hadn't known about. This course was one of my best experiences so far in the hockey world. I hope I can continue my journey after completing this course. This course introduced me to some new things and helped me to put the puzzle together, so to speak, on a number of issues. I gained a different outlook on the game and learned to train my eye much sharper than I ever did before. The weekly chats were invaluable. The Rink Net program was also enlightening. I was not aware there was a program that enabled you to follow every single player in the league. For the last eight weeks, I felt like a sponge who was soaking up every bit of information I could.

I owe many thanks to SMWW.

Now, I run my own sports management company, and I have Dr. Lashbrook to thank for his assistance and friendship.

High School Football Coach

I took this course in hopes of furthering my football career. Through the course, I learned a lot about the business in the NFL and also techniques on scouting players as both an athlete and also on their character. I am currently a high school football coach and middle school teacher. This summer I will also be the camp manager for the Philadelphia Eagles youth football camp. I feel having this course on my resume greatly helped with this opportunity.

I loved the sports broadcasting course. I found it to be informative and entertaining. It gave me great insight into the world of play by play as well as sports talk radio. It has opened doors that I never dreamed were possible.

The SMWW course has taught me the world of sports broadcasting. The importance of being informative is probably the most important thing I learned. Another key point is who you know to land a job. My favorite part was the weekly chats. It's fun to talk sports and be mentored by educated sports buffs.
